Arriving at Disney!

So we arrived to Disney on Tuesday. Mom and I decided not to go to a park that day but instead spent some time out by the pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Then we went back to our hotel room, got ready and headed to Narcossee's (our favorite) for dinner. It was great. Mommy and I sat at the bar, and then went outside to watch Wishes in the middle of our dinner. After dinner we had almond cheesecake for dessert. So yummy! Then headed back to the hotel to meet up with Auntie Tahlia and Aniston.

The next morning we all decided to head to Animal Kingdom. I was hoping that I could check out some of the Kids Discovery Clubs while I was there but unfortunately they were closed. I did however meet one of the presenters whose blog I was reading and chatted with her a bit. That evening Daddy arrived and we met up with my two new roommates and their families for dinner at Jiko. Food was delicious and it gave us all a chance to get to know each other before check in the next morning.

Thursday was exhausting. We woke up early and arrived at Cumberland for our check-in. Basically we waited in line and then met with our director of Temporary Housing to give us about a hundred rules we had to obey by while living here. Then we headed to casting where we had to wait more lines to sign all kinds of paper work, do a background check, and get told what constitutes the Disney Look.

Mommy stayed and my apartment while my roommates and checked in which was great. She unpacked some things for me and cleaned up the place a bit. We also met our 4th roommate that morning as well. Her name is Alyssa and she is an Industrial Engineering major working in Creative Costuming at Hollywood Studios. I love all the cool stories she tells us when she gets home from work. Her, Arielle, and I are really starting to hit it off.

After check-in Mommy took Arielle and I to Target to get some much needed items for our apartment, as well as lunch! :) We then had to head to a meeting for Animal Programs where we met all of our other fellow interns and our Coordinators.

I spent the rest of the evening hanging out with my roomies and going to bed early because I was exhausted.
